Meet John M. Coyne III
Born and raised in Medina County, John's roots run deep in the community. After earning a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating with High Honors, he returned home and obtained his law degree from the Cleveland Marshall College of Law, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and a Master’s in Business Administration at Cleveland State University.
For over three decades, he's been a trusted real estate attorney with the law firm of Roetzel & Andress.
John and his wife, Jennifer, have built their life here, celebrating 32 years of marriage and raising their three children, Jacqueline, Jessica, and John Coyne IV.
John excelled in pole vaulting, earning two Ohio High School State Championships and setting county and state records, including a 24-year state benchmark for all High Schools in Ohio. He was an All-American and Ohio's Gatorade Player of the Year in High School. At the University of Tennessee, he became a two-time All-American, SEC Indoor Champion, and team co-captain, contributing to Tennessee’s NCAA Division I National Championship in 1991. His record-setting career earned him inductions into three Halls of Fame.
